All current members get in free (but please RSVP). If you're not a member yet, coming to this awesome event is a cheap, easy and fun way to join, just buy a ticket/membership or pay at the door. You'll get your Union card, free entry to the fantabulous Annual Party/Meeting in Sept, and discounts at awesome local businesses like El Pelon, City Feed & Supply and Zipcar.
One of the best ways to meet the over 250 attendees throwing down at this shindig is to volunteer. Or help us out by inviting your friends on Facebook.

If you come, you'll enjoy free beer from Cambridge Brewing Co. and Boston Beer Co., free food from El Pelon, M&M Ribs, Chow Thai and other awesome local businesses, and you can take a peek at some amazing bikes from Boston Classic Bikes.
You'll also have a chance to enter the raffle and win a new bike or other gear with a $750 gift certificate from Ashmont Cycles in Dorchester. Spring is the Busy Season

It's starting to warm up, here.  Finally.  Although until recently, the weather still merited gloves and hats.  We've been busy.  Lots of rides to the zoo, where we don't just ride bikes.

And we get to chase each other with sticks!
We always get the best parking spot.

Want to keep a kid busy?  Bike wash!
 Bring on the bikes!
Part of Spring cleaning is out with the old and in with the new.  You can find many of the gems below still on CL Boston.

Maybe I've been doing it wrong?

I claim no ownership of this photo from www.ramtrucks.com

So, I've come to the conclusion that perhaps riding a bike everywhere, all the time isn't the greatest idea. In the rain? In the snow? Carrying snowblowers? What kind of example am I setting for my children? Besides, I really need to diversify my exercise routine. Honestly, my gut proves that two hours of daily biking will do little to improve one's health. I'm thinking about buying Motor Trend's 2013 Truck of the Year, the Dodge 1500, but I'm not sure where to park it, as I live in a city. But on the other hand, Boston provides plenty of free (and/or practically free) parking all over Boston, on both sides of the street. I think I'm going to go for it!
